About Charlotte McLean

As a recent graduate from Bath Spa University, Charlotte has completed a PGCE with Music specialism as well as a BA(Hons) in Music with Education studies. She has played the violin since the age of 6 and the flute from the age of 11 and has passed her grade 8 flute with distinction. ​ While at university, Charlotte played as part of the university orchestra as well as the baroque string ensemble, flute choir and university choir. As well as playing in university ensembles, Charlotte has had previous experience playing in other orchestras including the North Devon Strings. She also has experience of running a flute choir while at and also teaching a primary school string orchestra. ​ Charlotte has competed in the North Devon Performing Arts Festival and has won first in both woodwind solo and string solo classes.
