Lessons with Charlie are totally tailored to you and your voice. We can focus on any genre, all with a solid foundation of vocal technique. Right now, Charlie teaches a lot of Musical Theatre, particularly working towards LCM grades with teenage students. Charlie went through these grades herself so knows the exam format inside out. It's a great way to formalise learning and doesn't feel like an exam at all: it's just putting on your own mini musical! If Musicals aren't your thing, Charlie also specialises in Jazz vocals and improvisation and can also help you take your Songwriting to the next level. About Charlie Charlie Frances is a singer, songwriter, producer and vocal coach based in Bristol. Charlie has performed at Ronnie Scott's, Cheltenham Jazz Festival and Bristol Harbour Festival. Since 2020, Charlie and her partner Jake have hosted a monthly livestream event called Open Collab, where they improvise music and soundscape around poetry performances sent into them from all over the world.
