Andrea F.'s review on Dec 21, 2020

I was struggling to deal with fatigue and couldn’t shift some stubborn fat. Lucy was great, she met with me a couple of times, talked through options and gave me suggestions to try that would have an impact. Her approach was very much tailored to my individual needs, personality and lifestyle. My initial thoughts was that I needed to eat less. After various assessments that Lucy conducted, I needed to eat more! Lucy took time to explain the changes that I needed to make, and how I could implement them so they easily became part of my normal routine rather than an additional thing to add.

Questions & answers

What should customers know about your pricing? (E.g. estimates, discounts, fees, package pricing)
My services average from £20 for personal training to £40 for nutrition and life coaching
What process do you go through when starting with a new customer?
Each client is an individual so no one plan will work for all. We work through your lifestyle, likes, dislikes, barriers, limitations and apprehensions and devise a plan together which best fits you in order to facilitate your most effective programme.
What education or training is most relevant to your work?
I have a first class bachelors degree in Health, Exercise and Physical Activity as well as a post graduate certificate in public health nutrition.
Do you have tips or advice for someone hiring a pro in your line of work?
Look for the professional who most fits your ethos and personality. Everyone is different so a person who works for one won’t necessarily work for another
What questions should customers have ready before speaking to pros about their project?
How do you work? What will I be expected to do? How often will I have to be in contact? What are your qualifications? What is your experience?
What are some good examples of past customers?
Clients should be open to change and the realization that we as professionals are only facilitators. We can’t and shouldn’t force people to do things which aren’t comfortable to them. The oness of change is on the individual
Describe a recent project that went well. Scope? How long did it take?
I have had a British South Asian female client who, due to religion, was severely restricted in her exercise choices. Throughout her 12 week programme of physical activity and nutrition guidance she lost 2.5 stone and 3 years later has kept it off.
How did you first get into this line of work?
My oldest daughter (now 20) was very ill and medical intervention didn’t seem to help. I trained as a nutritionist and then fell in love with the industry. The idea of changing peoples lives through small, manageable alternatives fascinates and inspires me
