About Artur Haftman

Pianist Artur Haftman was born in Poland in 1994 and is currently studying for Artist Diploma at the Royal College of Music with Professor Dmitri Alexeev. He began playing the piano at the age of seven with Ewa Kubiak-Kubacka and Jolanta Reszelska and made his début performance with an orchestra at the age of eight. Due to great opportunities and teachings, he won international competitions including First Prize in the International Music Competition “Musicaclassica” in Moscow (2012), 7th International Chopin Competition in Narva – Estonia (2010), “Gold Parnas” (The Grand Prize) at International Piano Forum “Bieszczady bez granic” in Sanok (2013). Currently, Artur is a RCM Scholar supported by Henry Wood Trust and a recipient of Carnwath Piano Scholarship awarded by Worshipful Company of Musicians. Not only that, but he is also supported by Drake Calleja Trust, Talent Unlimited Musical Charity, The Hanna and Zdzislaw Broncel Charitable Trust and “Konfraternia Artystów Polskich”. Artur has been building his international reputation by participating in masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Russell Sherman, Janina Fialkowska, Arie Vardi, Jacques Rouvier and Meng-Chieh Liu and performing solo recitals across the UK, Poland, France, Estonia, Lithuania, Italy and Slovakia. Recently, he has launched his CD debut in London, commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Independence and performed in various venues such as Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields ,St Mary’s Perivale in London,Delbridge Hall in Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Boston, Culture Center in Stargard, Gallery 13 in High Street Kensington and Artist Homes in Berlin. His upcoming concerts include Performance for Nobel Prize Winners and Grand Tour in China.
