About ACD TRAINING

What I offer is aimed towards both men & women, particularly the middle aged. Have you found the weight has just crept on gradually over the years to a point where you feel embarrassed & overwhelmed & just don’t know where to start? I know that feeling so well. Most of us wanting to make this change are held back by our embarrassment & self consciousness at the thought of walking into a gym full of trainers in their twenties, and I know women imagine the gym is a very masculine orientated place. It’s often difficult to find time around work kids & running the home. My approach is flexible & tailored to each individual. I have your best interests at heart & my desire is for you to regain your body confidence & strength which in turn leads to mental well-being. My before & after pictures tell you my story. By 2017 I had become 22.5 stone in weight following a gradual progression of poor dietary choices & lack of exercise. Classified as morbidly obese, unfit & unhealthy, at an increased risk of developing diabetes & coronary disease and at worst not seeing my children grow up, I realised enough was enough. Decision made & the following two years I dedicated myself to physical training, researching & implementing better nutritional eating. Every week that passed I became fitter, stronger & healthier. Two years later I had lost ten stone + in weight & my waist measurement had gone from 48 to 32 inches, 16 inches lost. I did this through sheer dedication, home based exercise initially, & running. My regular routine now is CrossFit training a minimum of 3 times per week & in addition, cardio a minimum of 2-3 times per week. Im not suggesting that you need to do that amount of exercise, and it’s more than just exercise that helps you lose weight. Nutrition and BMR workings based on your statistics and daily activity is where we start. Exercise plans come after that. I have training venues that are quiet and private away from any gym open environments or other members, or you can be trained in your own home. If you would like some information on my package options, 1-1 training, circuit sessions for partner training or groups, please get in touch. As a qualified paramedic I also offer just health checks including blood pressure and blood sugar tests etc. (Health checks are just £25 and can do these in your own home depending on locations ).
