I had did have face to face violin lessons for a couple years or more and then tried some on line and then some self teaching and then a bit more face to face, but have not played or practiced properly because my then Fiddle teacher said to me one day "If you play like that you will never be any good and basically told me everything I had learnt and was practicing was wrong!!!! Have not played since. But today after spending time with my friend Peter Knight (Ex Steeleye Span Fiddler) decided that I would like to start again from almost scratch and see how I get on.
