Half the UK’s Service Professionals Fear They ‘Won’t Survive’ Lockdown

We recently surveyed hundreds of professionals that use Bidvine to grow their business to understand how the pandemic is impacting them. We’ve thought it was important to share our findings to help raise awareness of the difficult position many independent professionals find themselves. In addition, where possible, we’d like to share some resources that are available to this significant proportion of the population.

Of the professionals that have applied for support, 36% have received their benefit, 51
% have been approved and are awaiting their benefit, and 13% were rejected.
Of the people who felt the government should be doing more, 31% felt the size of ‘Bounce Back’ support should be increased and 36% felt there should be more support for Owners/Directors of limited companies.
Of those who experienced a positive change, 69% increased their customer base, 39% have done more for charity, 15% have had increased sales.
