1. Belfast Botanic Gardens

Featured in: The Fall

Now, BBC’s The Fall is not the most romantic series on television. In fact, it’s probably one of the least romantic or cheery. But, the show is set in Belfast and features many beautiful locations. The first location we’ve chosen to feature is the Belfast Botanic Gardens, where Paul took his daughter during the first series of the show.

The Gardens themselves are not a wedding venue, but you can host your wedding at the Ulster Museum, which is on the grounds of the Gardens. We’ve featured Ulster Museum in our collection of unique wedding venues in the UK, so head over to that post and have a look!

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Capacity: wedding photo location only, see the Ulster Museum for a wedding venue

How could we have a list of TV and film locations that are also wedding venues and not include anything from Made in Chelsea? We couldn’t, that’s how!

The Bluebird Restaurant in Chelsea is one of the Made in Chelsea crew’s main haunts, and we can understand why. It’s a beautiful restaurant that can host up to 230 of your closest friends and family members for your big day. You can host both your reception and ceremony at the Bluebird, too, as they can accommodate civil ceremonies.

If the Dark Hedges look familiar to Game of Thrones viewers, they should! Most of the Game of Thrones filming takes place in a studio near Belfast, so it makes sense that they would want to utilise the rest of Northern Ireland, as well. Best Wedding Photography Tips for Brides and Grooms – Pro Post

If you’re planning your wedding right now, we bet you’re looking for the top wedding photography tips for brides and grooms. Your wedding photos are probably the most important memento of your big day, so it’s important to make the most of hiring a photographer.

Our first tip is to hire a professional photographer. You want to make sure you’re getting the best photos of your wedding, without having to worry that someone is taking photos. In short, you shouldn’t be trusting your wedding photography to your cousins or grandparents, as you won’t get high-quality shots from them.

For this pro post, we consulted a Bidvine pro, Adrian Cottrell of Peterborough Wedding Photographers, to learn more about his top wedding photography tips for couples. We’ve also scattered in some Bidvine tips to make sure you get the most advice possible!

Read on to learn more about Adrian’s advice for couples getting married:

Top Wedding Photography Tips for Couples

Here are a few practical wedding photography tips to help couples get the best from their professional photographer.

Choose a photogenic venue.

Try to choose a venue where your outside images will shine – for example, a churchyard full of gravestones will make your images look like something out of The Munsters!

Think of possible locations for photography when you select your wedding venue. If it doesn’t have any (like the above), then move on.

How long will you need us for?

You might like to have a photographer around for ‘ten hours or more’ (as seen on some quotes!). But, remember that photographers are human and that they need breaks too. Plan carefully where and when you need your photographer and you will use his time effectively and get the best pictures. more
